Kind of light-hearted.
Been thinking of all the ways anxiety impacts my life and realised some of my behaviours would seem strange to people who don't suffer with anxiety .
1 I hate to pre book or plan a holiday day out INCASE I get DX with a illness that means I would have to cancel 😩
2 New year gives me the heebie-jeebies,makes me feel like I'm leaving the safety of one era for the uncertainty of another .
3 Always in whatever situation plan and preper for the worst case scenario, then I know things can only improve .
What are your irrational anxiety 'quirks' ?
Honestly anxiety is exhausting .

Who did you learn this way of thinking and behaving from?

Anxiety is the emotion that's triggered when there's something that's too important to ignore – everything from getting to work on time (low level) to making sure you have your passport before leaving for the airport.

Like all emotions it can get things wrong sometimes, or over react but it is trying to keep you safe. Listen to what it's warning you about and decide if action is necessary or if you can safely ignore it.

I have anxiety.

I don't excercise because I'm scared my heart will stop.

I dont eat new foods in case I'm allergic

I don't go unfamiliar places because I need to know the exits.

There's loads more but I'd be all here night and probs get sectioned 😂

I think a lot of it is from past trauma.
Being blindsided by whilst being pregnant and left with 3 children followed by DV made me hyper aware that the worst things can happen to me.
I never used to worry about anything now Im constantly catastrophising to be prepared .
It truly does make life unbearable alot of the time .
