Freaking out after ADHD assessment

Hi
Just after some advice really.
Had my nhs ADHD assessment today. I have waited 4 years for this appointment and feel like I totally messed it up.
I left out so much very important information-didn't mention my binge eating, alcohol problems, friend/relationship problems etc and feel like I massively underplayed how things affect me and how I cope with things-I don't know why I did this.

I'm freaking out now that because of this I'll be misdiagnosed.
Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this or if there is anything I can do?

Do you have an email address . Can you email say you forgot to mention …. And you think it may be relevant .

Most of the diagnosis will be based on the things you told them about your childhood.

The assessment is led so you answer questions. You don’t really give ‘random’ information, it’s really quite structured. I would not worry if you have answered the questions you have given information about the specifics they are looking for.

Am I allowed to email them?
I had to provide school reports but these all said I was attentive at school which is not how I remember it. I think I was good at pretending to listen but most of the time was day dreaming/talking and have somehow managed to skirt my way through life like this at work too

From what I've read, women and girls are often not diagnosed with ADHD even if they are unless the assessor is experienced in looking for ADHD in high masking women/girls. My daughter is suspected of being ADHD and her counsellor has strongly suggested that she goes through private assessment at a particular place rather than NHS assessment as they are more experienced in women/girls. I would suggest you email the information you feel is important and if you don't get the diagnosis you are expecting perhaps look as getting another assessment elsewhere if you are able to.
