Literally drained all the time

I am constantly tired. Dog tired. Yes, I work full time and my work involves driving a lot, it's a newish job having merged with a much larger organisation and the role has changed to something I didn't sign up for really. I'm in a less senior role and doing something I actually don't like. Looking for another role, but anyone 55+ knows how hard that can be. I've tried to take annual leave strategically to give me regular breaks, so I've booked a Friday and Monday off to enjoy a long weekend, but I just don't recover. I live with my partner and daughter who's just about to embark on her first professional job after university and she will be leaving home again soon. I don't really see friends, as they live miles away or abroad and I haven't really travelled for 18 years because of financial constraints, so I don't talk to anyone much (my partner is out of work, has been for several years and gets easily irritated. ) I eat really well, good healthy meals, 100g protein, no snacking and I weigh around 54kg. I have tried exercising in the morning before work, so around 6 -7am, weights etc.. but I can't be consistent because I just feel tired after and for the rest of the day. I take vit d3 and magnesium, no health problems, just this constant foggy tiredness. I've discussed with my GP 3 times over the last 12 months, he cannot detect any issues. Anyone have any advice? I'm not imagining all this!

Personal question but are you menopausal? Have you had a full blood work up because I'd be getting thyroid checked for definite

I'd insist on further investigation. Could be thyroid, autoimmune or something else. Don't be fobbed off. Get a full blood panel and take it from there. A friend of mine was exhausted all the time, turned out to be breast cancer.

@Devilsmommy I'm not menopausal, I'm post menopausal, but, I'm 61 and have wondered if I'm still in it now you mention it.
@MiloMinderbinder925 , crikey, I have wondered about thyroid previously, so I had some tests done for that and they came back normal. I've wondered today, after I've shared this (I've only discussed this with GPs I've seen) if I'm depressed and not recognised it for 20 years? I could have just 'put up with it' thinking this is just the way life has turned out for me, and just sort of exhausted myself. Last week I received notification from my landlord that he's putting the house up for sale - we've lived here 21 years - and I just couldn't be arsed to care about it!
