It's true that I have had several bereavements recently but my brain keeps on clocking over and my friends and family are trying to cope with it.

It's not really fair on them. So I'm not sure if this is a mental health problem or being overwhelmed?

Hi, can you describe the problem a little bit more? Is it that your mind is racing and you’re blurting random things out? Or more that you can’t bottle up your feelings and are unloading or over sharing?

Would you say you’ve tried to suppress your grief, in which case no wonder you’re overwhelmed and you need some space - time off work and the demand of daily life.

or have you gone the other way and started to drown in it? Sometimes staying busy and “acting normal” can be a healthy way to give yourself aa few minutes respite from the grief. Staying home and letting yourself give in to the grief isn’t always the right approach.

Do you have new responsibilities including caring due to the bereavements? Or the opposite?

If you can afford it, find a counsellor who will listen, and let you work through the feelings on a regular basis.

Also I strongly regular long walks in fresh air, early morning is ideal if the weather is fine. Or a long slow swim. Somewhere your mind can drift, while your body stays active.

I think it's that I feel slightly overwhelmed at present and it can come out as a stream of things about the past.

Probably need a muzzle 🙂

My GP is very good so I should try him or look into CBT
