Coming off fluoxetine

I'm day 19 of reducing my daily tablet to every other day (20mg)
Yesterday and today I've had a lightheaded/sicky/dizzy feeling could it be this?

I've decided to do it very gradually after speaking to my GP who suggested every other day or I can do 10mg daily then see how I go with the plan of doing it very slowly as I don't think I need to be on them anymore

My baby is 2.5years and I went on them when she was 5 months old as I felt so unwell after her birth but with factors like traumatic birth, thyroid issue, crying baby and 2l blood loss, i still wasn't feeling well at 5month marker so I tried them to see how I would feel and by 5 weeks I felt 'lifted'
She wasn't feeding well, crying most the days and I was getting hardly any sleep but now she's sleeping, healthy and well I'm back to work and feel well so after a chat with my GP I've decided to try come off them

Anyone had experience with coming off them? I know it's a gradual process and I'm more than happy to go slow
Slower then some GPs recommended anyway but mine said I can go at my pace and no rush

I would follow your Gp advice and take it very slowly. Try not to analyse every little symptom. I had the odd little headache but probably would have had them anyway. It was fine for me done slowly.

We phased it out over months by reducing the dose every two weeks by a small amount. One of my children came off easily, the other struggled with the last 0.1ml. Their psychiatrist said to avoid taking fluoxetine every other day.

I'd be tempted to ask the GP for 10mg tablets and to start with alternating 20 and then 10 and when stable on that drop to 10 then 10, then 10 and 0 before stopping. Keeping it as even as possible.

DD has been on fluoxetine for 4 years but may have just had her last dose.

We have followed handyfactsheetcomingofffluoxetineuk.pdf but over the last 2-3 years reducing from 40mg as she improved.

Edit: (That leaflet has been updated since I printed it out. Ours talks about dropping to 10 daily then 10 every other day if you want to)
