Anxiety attack at night

Wondering when/if I should contact my GP?
For the last month or so most nights (5out of 7) I think I'm having anxiety attacks in bed.
Heart palpitations, tingling limbs and chest burning/tightness.
Anyone else experienced this?
I'm 6 months post partum

Could be postpartum anxiety. Yes contact the GP. They should be able to refer you for therapy if you think that would help.

im a long standing sufferer of anxiety, it really is an uncomfortable feeling especially when you’ve got kids.

I think I will phone the GP tomorrow Thankyou so much for replying.
Has anything helped you with this over the time you've had it?
I seem to just lay awake for hours and hours whilst it comes in waves

I would definitely speak to GP , they can reassure you it's normal ( I'm sure it is as had the same thing for years but mines menopause now) , ask for some well-being or therapy support to get you through .
Now I just accept them , listen to them and eventually they stop . If they bother you in the night also distract with book , audio book etc . Maybe get up and have a cuppa instead of lying awake .

I've had all those symptoms, I have very low ferritin and on iron now. Have you had a blood test recently?

OP make an appointment with your GP and get a check up. Beta blockers will help with the physical symptoms of the panic attacks.

You could also try Magnesium at night to help you sleep.
