Anyone just wanting it in a nutshell?

Just throwing it out there that I'm well praised and complimented on fixing everyone else's issues.

I'm literally drowning unsupported with my own problems atm but I still have the uncontrollable passion for helping others even whilst at my rock bottom.

Some conversations on here ignite the urge for jumping in with what could be so much worthwhile advice than what's being given even worse then people that enforce incorrect information to someone already in turmoil.

Just offering what doesn't seem to be available, if you are struggling and just want a simple response without paragraphs of shite or just braving that sharp shock of reality that you dread then come to me!!!

Imagine being like this has lost me my babies. You either think that's right or not. There's no ins and outs or need for any further info.

I believe it's wrong. Now what on earth do I do to stop it that I haven't already tried.

OK.
Ring your kids social worker, or your family support worker. If the Local Authority are in care proceedings or pre proceedings then you are legally represented so speak to your solicitor. Are you working with anywhere like a women's service or a mental health charity?
MN can't help you fix this. You need clarity from professionals on what's expected of you, ask for a list, and you need to sit and work out how you can start working through that list.

But I haven't once asked for mental health advice have i. That's my point!!

You're posting hard-to-read posts on the mental health board; understandably people think you're having an MH crisis. Getting support for your difficulties will be the first step towards getting your children back.

Singleandproud · 21/11/2024 10:43

If you need legal advice post in the Legal forum, people on MN are not here to provide ongoing professional support.

There are many experts who will drop in and try and help with specific queries - but again this is voluntary and quite frankly they could be anyone.

I'm diagnosed with EUPD and CPTSD and it's being used against me so I thought it would be ok. Expecting people the same being punished and it easily going amiss due to the barrier you're witnessing yourselves

I apologise to each one of you if I have offended in anyway but again this was the point I was attempting to make in the first place. There isn't a category that covers my knowing exactly how easy and quickly this keeps happening to me. I've had to prioritise understanding this finding a way of accepting it being something that can't be fixed learn how to cope and maintain all by myself without family etc all at the same time as having a baby. My baby got the short straw and I'll always feel the guilt of not being away sooner but I have the best bond with her now that she could ever need and I waited 10yrs to be sure I had well prepared for all scenarios. Now I've lost them all

Are you getting DBT for your EUPD? That would be a massive first step towards getting your children back because if you could show you can self-regulate you would find it easier dealing with everything. I get mixed bipolar episodes which are indistinguishable from EUPD when I'm in a crisis and DBT doesn't work for me (only medication does) as mine's not caused by trauma, but if I could solve those massive feelings with DBT I totally would.

LittleGreenDragons · 21/11/2024 11:10

Alls I wanted was advice on how to get legal assistance
Then be clear about it. Posting on the MH board about suicidal people and getting help will not give you the answers you are looking for.

I'm out.

Maybe so but it's people like you that is wrong in the world not me. How can you be out of something you wasn't in?

OP look at the Family Rights Group. They do not judge or try and catch you out or anything, they're really good: https://frg.org.uk/ There's a phone line if you feel able to actually talk to someone but maybe write yourself 2-3 bullet points outlining what the problem is before you ring so you can get the most out of the phone call. You have to ring again and again to get through to someone but they're very helpful when you do.

I have therapy and what not in accordance with needing it. I've got 17yrs of evidence to prove it. In ten years it's never affected my parenting in this context. The guilt of worrying about it is hard enough to live with.

My mental health is not why they became involved. The way they treated me eventually started to get to me and then yes it altered my attitude engaging with them. They'd done wrong though and knew they needed something to excuse it. For 18months they admitted they didn't have a case.

Then definitely contact the FRG that I linked to above, they can give you free legal advice.

Whaaaaaat? I thought that was their entire thing was to advise you on your legal rights with regard to the family courts, social services etc. 🤷‍♀️ I'm sorry they weren't helpful this time.
