Long term nausea - fluoxetine?

Hi.

I've been on fluoxetine for 2 months now and lost lots of weight when initially on it, this I felt was due to the intense stomach upset (diarrhoea and nausea) it caused in the early days of being on it (started after week 2). I have since been to the GP and had blood tests checking my bone profile, electrolytes, liver function, full blood count and crp (all normal). I additionally had coeliac ruled out as well as a test for diabetes.
I have also had a stool sample collected which showed I had a normal calprotein level. They seem to have in turn ruled out abdominal infections, acute infection and irritable bowel disease, common intolerances and diabetes. However I have had continued on and off nausea ever since beginning the medication which hugely disrupts my eating habits and day to day life. I also have suspected endometriosis as an ultrasound showed my ovary is stuck to my uterus, they've enquired about investigative surgery.
Anyway, I wondered if anyone else has had long term nausea when on fluoxetine and how they managed it? Was it fluoxetine or was it something else?
I don't want to keep losing weight. But I feel the medicine works well for me mentally, so feel concerned about stopping it.

Thanks in advance

I've had none of the above symptoms op other than a bout of diarrhea during week 2 I think it was. Been on the over 5 months now

Do you take it with food and water? I always take it with a meal, and have a lot of water, at least 250ml, rather than just the mouthful I might have with something like paracetamol. If I don't take it with enough water, it can cause nausea.
