Feeling drab and dull

Just looking to rant and for a bit of advice.
I feel drab and frumpy. I suffer with depression so it's hard to commit to a full skin care regime/style my hair every night. Some nights I can't even brush my teeth.
But I feel like a scruff.
My hair is dry and lifeless. My skin is not great.
I work from home so i stay in my pyjamas all day.

When you have felt the same what little changes did you make?
I feel overwhelmed with what I need to work on.
Thanks

Healthy diet will help as a starting point. Going for lots of walks and take vitamins; your skin and hair will thank you.

And get changed out of pyjamas...even a comfy tracksuit is better.

Decide for yourself what is non-negotiable or actually necessary, and what is just stuff you have been told you should do.

Brushing your teeth before bed is a necessity. Putting on skin cream is not.
A lot of the daily crap that we have on our to do lists, a lot of the self care stuff especially, is just us buying and using products. Great if you enjoy it, but not a necessity if you are struggling with the basics of eating properly and hygiene.

Food, sleep and health. Focus on that when you are struggling and pause the rest of it.

I use the Habit Tracker app….it’s £3.50 but I find it really good. I’ve got everything on there…shower, teeth, shave legs, fake tan, skincare, vitamins, yoga etc. Just focus on one thing so that you don’t feel overwhelmed and don’t be a perfectionist…just do the thing quickly and tick it off. There’s loads I don’t get done but even if you only do them once a week it’s better than nothing.
