I can recommend Smiling Mind, which is entirely free, unlike many that want you to pay for an ongoing subscription. It's Australian and is used in schools there, but it has plenty of meditations and activities for adults too. I've found it very helpful, and I'd suggest the 'Stress Management' section if you're going through a difficult time right now. Good luck 😊

Great thread, I've been looking for one myself. I think I downloaded all of them. I like insight timer.

Curious to know why you don't see a value in paying for an app?

I would consider a paid app @annabanana068

I've just tried Smiling Mind after seeing someone on MN recommend it and I was impressed. The organisation behind it accept donations so now I've remembered I will donate to help them out. Obviously a lot of people are feeling financial pressures at the moment so it helps to know there is something effective that doesn't cost anything.

I do like Insight Timer too, but I find the amount of content overwhelming. Too much choice! Grin

I like Mark Williams mindfulness exercises too, you get them if you buy a book, but they may be available online somewhere.

Makes so much sense! I'm off to check those out.
