Have you tried talking therapy? Medication would probably help too - see your GP.

Medication unfortunately not an option as we would like to expand our family but the fear of what pregnancy and dying during another c section means I hold off I just feel like there's no winning

Remember, when you made that decision, you made it based on the information you had at the time and you thought it was the best decision at that time. That's the only thing anyone can do. If we don't make mistakes we never learn. Thoughts are just thoughts, they are neither true or portents of the future. It might help you to use a CBT technique to put your thoughts 'on trial' using this worksheet;

If that's too much try simply writing the thought down on a piece of paper. The act of taking it out of your mind and exposing it to reality can rob it of it's power.

Who said that? Most SSRIs are pregnancy-safe from what I was told?

Medication really makes the biggest difference and has totally given me a new lease of life. No amount of breathing/walking outside/whatever can cure you when you are so consumed by anxiety. My GPs analogy is that if you had a sore leg and couldn’t walk you would go to the Dr for painkiller and physio. With anxiety the SSRI is just like a painkiller for your brain and talking therapy is like the physio.
