I dont usually watch the news but I happened to turn the tv on and it was on and i was devastated to hear the news of baby bronson who sadly passed away and I cannot stop thinking about him or crying. I have two children of my own and my youngest is the same age. I have tried to seek advice online but haven't found anything. I am deeply affected by this and would really like some support in moving forward 💕 TIA x

I think this is one of those things where you have to recognise that your feelings about it aren't grief - leave that for those who knew him and are currently broken - but are about the awfulness of the situation.

You can do something about that - volunteer at a shelter or food/baby bank, or baby group for those in need, donate items to those who don't have them, join a cause raising awareness, befriend a single parent etc

@OhpoorMe thank you for your reply. You are so right and I appreciate your advice. I will definitely look at what help I can give in my local area 😌

It is not unusual for some events to shock and upset people even though they're not affected personally.

This article might help. It includes the suggestion to do something practical, as well as other advice:

@LightSwerve thank you, some good advice there 😌🙏

I have been in touch with a women's and children's charity today and they have sent me an application form to volunteer.

I am very sensitive to news about children etc and it does still enter my mind daily. Unfortunately, I can't just switch it off and forget about it. But thank you for that link, it's really helpful x
