I'm really at my wits end. I thought by now I would feel a lot better. Still panic attacks, still anxiety at 100 and shaking.
Anyone had any success with it? Does it take ages to work? I'm so tired of fighting

@DemelzaandRoss the wait is nuts. I will download the app.
I struggle with not being understood. You can't just go "oh well I'm alive" and push on it's not a choice x

I do hope you have a supportive family.
The wait to feel different is awful. In the end you almost say to yourself that you don’t care about anything. I think you pretend a lot to others.
Anxiety is a lonely state to be in.
People say keep busy, but it’s impossible as those thoughts in your head never switch off.
I try mantras & keep repeating… All things must pass & All will be well. It’s important to get positive thoughts into the brain, even if you don’t really feel positive!!

@DemelzaandRoss oh I hear you. I have so many things I need to do but my brain is just torture and I can't concentrate on details.
I push myself - this morning I just wanted yo hide in bed but I got up and got ready and took my son to school and got a food shop.
Because of losing my son its just so cruel my life is still miserable because my brain won't be kind.
How long when you upped your dose did you feel an improvement? X

I think about 10 days as I was already feeling improved. We all support you. It’s a question of ‘existing’ for a bit longer. Take care.

There is a test that can be done called ‘genesight’ to tell you which psychiatric medications are most likely to work best for you. Not sure if it is routinely available on the NHS through. Wishing you all the best.

@Marv1nGay3 wow I've never heard of that before. Will look into it x

Please know that your brain/mind always wants to be kind to you but the trauma of losing your son is causing it to struggle to process your thoughts - that's why it's hyper alert to health fears and causing the panic attacks. It is possible to resolve this.

Does anyone get temporary relief with alcohol but feels a million times worse the next day? X
