How do you deal with no support?

My marriage is ending. I have no family I can rely on and two primary aged kids at home. I dont think I'm depressed, just very stressed and upset by the situation, and mostly physically managing the kids on my own. Everything I have read says you should ask for help, reach out for support etc. But what are you supposed to do when there isn't anyone?

There are forums and phone lines you can call. Just because you don't feel you can talk to anyone you know perhaps a stranger is better
Cobtact your GP they'll be able to offer a diagnosis and help

Precisely, there's a lot of that don't be afraid to ask for help going on but a lot of it is just tosh.

Tbf these things worked for me

MN

Church (not for everyone I know)

Chatting with my GP

That's what worked when there was no support.

It's also wise to get to know someone a bit before you figure out if they are that safe person for you.

Calling helplines and talking about my problems made me feel even lonlier but I recognise some people had better luck there
