Blood tests for hormone profiles

So I was having panic attacks, on the floor, crying in other peoples houses generally centred around my menstrual cycle, but it was getting to a point where it was twice a month.

Many of the breakdowns were around, not having a child. Now I'm 6 months pregnant and I've been completely stable for this whole time. I'd even go as far to say that there is some kind of hormone that is blocking me from being able to be sad.

When I encounter sad things I can't cry or feel the emotion. When I encounter joy the maximum I've been able to produce is one tear.

Soo I'm curious to investigate.
There is a hormonal balance that has happened because of pregnancy.

I think this is something that NHS doctors aren't really familiar with so I'm looking to go private but I don't know what kind of doctor I need for this.

I'm curious to get a blood test to Profile, the hormones that are in my body right now.

If during postpartum I Encounter the same mental health issues afterwards I'll be curious to create a concoction of diet or medicine to return my hormonal balance to whatever it is right now. So my question is...

Do you know what kind of private doctor I need to get a blood test to measure my hormone profile?

Do you know what kind of doctor deals with hormone balancing (as opposed to blanket anti-depressants). I'm thinking an ND (what does that stand for-I think that's the direction I'm going in from previous forums I've read regarding other conditions, but I don't know where to start with that either)

Any tips, recommendations or suggestions of anyone that's gone through this or knows anything about this would be interesting.

Has anyone else gone from sad before to happy during pregnancy? And how did it go afterwards?

Have you looked at PMDD? Pregnancy would stop that in it's tracks.

Also grief around infertility is huge. You no longer have to manage with that grief.
