Wellbeing/nurture activities for teenage girls

Hi. I have recently started working with secondary school aged children in a wellbeing capacity. We are understaffed and currently waiting for a department leader to be appointed. I work in a supporting role.
I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of activities that would engage teenagers on the topics of self-care/wellbeing/mental health, etc. Some of them display challenging behaviours so are not always the easiest to engage. It should be something interactive - with opportunities for discussion - to really hook them in (as opposed to anything that entails too much writing). I was thinking I could make it relevant to them by looking at the attitudes of various celebrities towards mental health.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much.

Is this sort of thing any use?

The other thing was YouTube exercise videos to boost mood.

Be really careful because without proper experience and training you can cause those damaged children more harm than good

Especially if you do anything meditative where all they have is the space to reflect on everything that is awful in their lives

Wellbeing in schools is currently being reevaluated

So I'd advise you to do your research properly and definitely not ask random people on MN for a start

@RedDoughnut
A bit young perhaps, but many thanks!

@Ireallydohope
It really wasn't going to be that heavy Confused Just some chat around mental health and what we can do to promote positive mental health. Nothing that would scar!

Look at the Anna Freud centre. But be very careful, pshe and wb has strict guidelines.

You still need to tread carefully as you don't know what can trigger what without the relevant experience
