Tips for SAD?! Hate the clock change

I always struggle this time of year so looking for top tips to see the positives in the changing clocks

I have 2 dogs and work full time so morning and evening walks in the dark are inevitable and routines need to change slightly.(walking dogs immediately after work instead of after dinner!)
My work means being inside all day (dental nurse so can't really take a walk outside!)

Already have a SAD alarm clock and have started taking vitamin D this year to see if that makes any difference but wondering what everyone else does to keep their spirits high till February!

I just count down each day until 22nd December (shortest day) and then like to think that we are past the worst and the days will begin slowly lengthening again.

I hate this time of year though. I'd prefer to hibernate until around the start of March the following year.

Exercise and daylight, preferably exercise in daylight. Are you sure you can't take a lunch break or 20 min early afternoon break for a quick walk outside? Long walks with dogs on weekends in daylight hours perhaps?
