Hi so I came off fluoxetine in 2019.

I have been in a dark place for the past year but wanted to try and cope without them but it's proving too hard now and I'm having horrible extreme thoughts now so I've been prescribed them again

I'm just wondering as they have been out of my system for a while will I have the jitters like I did when I first took them back in 2013. I remember feeling shaky and nauseous and dizzy when I took my first AD (only for a day or two then I was fine...)

I forgot to ask my GP as she was kind of rushing me off the call

Does anyone know?

Answers appreciated

I have just started ssri for second time and jittery and teary again. So not sure guess everyone is different .

I struggled for about 4 weeks with my SSRI but once they kicked in properly the relief was immense.
Some people have no side effects at all. You might be lucky!

@Elliejane @Squirrelsnut oh gosh 🤦🏽‍♀️
I was going to take it this morning but I have to drive. Think I might wait until the weekend just in case

Hi,
I would say it will be better to take them.
Mental health is key
