I suffer with anxiety myself and it therefore feels strange here asking for advice for my DS but I’m hoping someone may have targeted advice or previous experience of dealing with this
A levels are in less than a month and my DS just broke down last night in inconsolable tears and complaining of stomach ache and feeling unwell. i reassured him hugged him and told him how amazing he is and that these exams are not everything and how proud we are what a hard worker he is and that giving his best is good enough but I don’t think he believes it.
He is missing school today due to feeling “sick” and stomach ache which I’m sure is anxiety it always goes to my stomach too. But any advice on any supplements aimed at teens that help? At 18 his hormones are in turmoil too!

That’s a lot of pressure for your family right now.

What really helped our family when our DC had an anxious period was quite simple and difficult at the same time.

I realised that I’m projecting my anxieties onto my child (it was around a school change) and I made sure that I found a footing myself. It did wonders for everyone because once my DC saw that I was relaxed he could relax.

Not sure if something like this might help you too?
