Anyone else struggling with working from home?
My get up and go has left the building. On the days my kids are with there dads I just roll out of bed 5 mins before I have to log onto my PC and work in my pjs. I’ve got zero energy and it’s just really getting me down!

I’m on 30mg of Fluoxetine

Yes I'm there. I'm so behind I don't know how I'll ever catch up and each week I get further behind. I have no energy for anything just now.

I'm not on antids, but am experiencing bouts of low mood.

I get the bare minimum done work wise but just feel so bleurgh. Just find my self sat been distracted on my phone. Even tidying the house etc is such an effort

I find myself watching old episodes of Silent Witness for company. I didn't used to be like this, but the further behind I get, the more difficult it is to catch up.

This is exactly how I felt but I went back out to work 2 weeks ago and the difference is amazing! Today my appointments cancelled due to illness and I’ve worked from home again and I honestly don’t know how I did it for 18 months. I don’t know what I’ll do if we have to go back to that!

Are you not able to get into an office a day or two a week? If there is no office, would your employer support some sort of co-working thing? A change of scene is energising and motivating. I’m going back for precisely this reason.

Me too! I've read it's an aftereffect of all the stress we've been under for the past 18 months. It's been called ' languishing'. A general lack of energy and motivation. Essentially we are all burnt out.

Please start taking vitamin D and if you can go for a little walk. Working from home make people very sluggish.

I’ve spoke to my boss and I shall start doing a day on the office next week so hopefully that’ll help. I always thought I’d love working from home but it’s done my mental health no favours, especially as a single mum to 2.

Thanks for all the advice Smile
