Hi there, I've been suffering with anxiety since I was about 7 or 8, over the years it's been a massive struggle, I've had many camhs referral and private therapy sessions, multiple different diagnoses, ocd, generalised anxiety disorder, emetophobia, depression... I just really can't seem to keep it under control, this year it has really been a battle, at the start of the year I had something awful happen at the start of the year I then developed a food fear that really has taken over my life for the past 6 or 7 months, I recently have started back at college and I just can't go, just the constant panic attacks and I am so alone and I just don't know where to go from here it's really hard because I want to be able to do things I just can't push myself, I am on medications for anxiety but they don't seem to be easing it really any advice would be extremely grateful :

I'm sorry you are suffering like this. I know how disabling this can be and it's utterly shite.

I think I find with some things just getting on and doing it is the best option to get through. You can be anxious and still do it at the same time (eg tonight I've got a vomiting child and im emetophobic)

But somethings are too big and doing them is going to do more harm than good.

Separating those out is a help for me. I had can I do anyway and notice the anxiety and what needs avoiding for self preservation. Initially everything falls in second group but slowly I've noticed there are some things that can be done. Maybe though need (like sick child, only parent here) but still....

Hope you get some breathing space soon. Take care
