My daughter refuses counselling. She is addicted to online shopping and eats compulsively. She was badly bullied. She gets lots of parcels delivered to my house. To help her would it be a start to refuse all deliveries as it is costing a fortune. I only want to help. Thankyou

How old is she? Who is paying for the parcels and how are the paying for them (i.e. where is the money coming from)?

She pays. She is at University. Works 24 hours to fund the habit. Doesn't wear most of what she buys . Aged ,early twenties. Lives with boyfriend.Thankyou.

If she won't attend counselling, maybe she might be interested in studying it?

Kain Ramsay (his book, Responsibility Rebellion is excellent) has several courses on Udemy. The CBT Practitioner course might interest her;

Other than that - given her age and that she's able to pay for the stuff she's buying - I'm not sure what else you can do, until she admits she's not a problem. What does her boyfriend think about the situation?

Boyfriend indifferent I think. Thankyou for the course recommendation. She has problems sticking with things. I will suggest it to her though. Thankyou.
