I'm about to start sertraline for the 2nd time. I took it a few years ago and it worked very well for me.
I remember having a few days of side effects when I went on it but they weren't too bad.
My best friend is a mental health professional (handy!) and she thinks I shouldn't really get side effects the 2nd time going on it as your brain knows what to do with it.
Does anyone have a positive story of going on sertraline for a second time?

I took it 2.5 years ago when my mum was passing away and like you had a couple of nausea days but that was it so thought I would be fine this time but most definitely not it was absolutely awful I'm now on day 4 of citalopram so heres hoping

Definitely speak to your GP. I was prescribed 50mg Phenergan (promethazine) a night. It's an antihistamine and massively helps. If I really want to sleep well I take a herbal nytol on top but probably not recommended. Best of luck.
