Anyone else suffering with anxiety at the moment?

The last week has been tough for me. Daily anxiety which makes me feel weak, sick, lack of appetite etc.
I'm a first time mum to my 10 month old daughter who I had in the first lockdown.
Ever since, I've just had increasing anxiety in general (not about being a mum or knowing how to parent).
Is this normal? Does anyone else feel the same way at the moment?
I'm trying to give myself a bit of slack telling myself that it's been a very tough year, let alone becoming a first time mum and being isolated away from family, and not working full time anymore.
Anyone else?? Also does anyone else suffer with nausea from anxiety?
Thanks in advance!

Yes I'm suffering from anxiety at work- shaking all over especially my hands, feeling hot & faint & tearful. My psychiatrist has prescribed prn promethazine which helps a bit.

I think for you it would be a good idea to speak to your gp about how your feeling. Or a health visitor?

Thanks for the reply! I have spoken to my GP who prescribed me Propanalol back in October, but only started taking it this week & I'm sure it's making me feel a bit nauseas, tired, weak etc. It's only a low dose but I'm still hesitant to take it.

I see. It could also be the anxiety making you feel that way.
Some meds can also have temporary side effects which you just have to work through.
I would persevere with the propanol as long as the side effects don't interfere with the care of your baby.

When I get very anxious I start shaking feel very cold, nauseous and lose concentration. I found recently that listening to a self help app like calm can help me a little bit and also big deep breaths help. The problem I find is I never know when these waves of being highly anxious are coming. It’s been worse since lockdown Talk to GP good luck - There’s a lot of people on here who can help
