Hi all
Just after some advice , my mum is 62 she's always suffered mental health problems an I remember seeing her struggle lots growing up. She suffers with health anxiety amongst other things.
She had a infection on her tooth so long story short she had the tooth out, she's been in bed all week with panic attacks and anxiety, the mood within the house is awful ( I don't live there but speak regularly with my dad and sister who do)
She's not getting out of bed an just doesn't seem to want to pull herself out of it, we are all supportive and here for her but we don't know what else to do to try and help her she knows deep down she is fine she's spoken again to the dentist and he's reassured her and she's going again Monday to double check it's healing fine. Does anyone have any advice please? She's on anti ds an beta blockers Xx

I think she needs to accept that she is mentally unwell. Once she's on board with that then she needs to push for counselling/CBT/some sort of therapy - she'll probably need help from your dad with this to emphasise just how much her life is being affected. MH issues are horrendous but until someone is willing to accept that they need help then you can't really do anything Thanks
