I just have been feeling like crap and down because I can’t drive and I still have to get the bus and the bus is I just depressing af. I failed my test in September and it only lasted 10 mins now I booked another one but It’s a few months off and what if I don’t pass that and I’ll have to wait for another one and get the crap embarrassing pathetic bus 😒. Its actually having to get the bus, that would be depressing having to get it all my life I’d hate that so much. Walking round everywhere it’s actually depressing and embarrassing for me all everyone else is driving and I'm just pretty ashamed of myself because I'm a bus wanker it's just not something I'm proud of and should be ashamed of myself which I am.

Hi op, I failed twice and passed third time, I agree it is demoralising but look at the facts...statistically you will pass eventually. My friend who failed 4 times used to joke ' me and dvla haven't seen eye to eye yet'. I made a mistake and failed as soon as I drove out of the centre then had to do the rest of the test knowing I failed. I thought I was a failure but this is an important distinction. Just because you fail one thing you are not a failure. Imagine you were talking to a good friend in your shoes, you would say cheer up, be positive. Language like bus wanker is unhelpful, appreciate that you can get the bus and have a choice, some people are disabled and have no choice.

What you need to remember is the test is there to make sure you are a SAFE driver for your safety and others. All you need to do is continue to practise especially focusing on the areas you failed on.

Hi @rooboy I'm a bus wanker too haha & hate it, well actually I have Photosensitive epilepsy so can't drive as I can't find meds that work 100%... at least you do have the opportunity to learn to drive however long it takes so be grateful for that.
Just stay positive & focused.
Meanwhile do things to make your bus journeys more enjoyable eg listen to music you like...
