@Lightsabre hey hun I've had a couple so far they don't really seem to be doing much tbh, but I haven't gone out on the days I've taken them so I don't know if they 'work' have to go out tomorrow for a few bits so will know then, I'm sorry u had a shit time on them :(

@Lightsabre

I had them once and genuinely thought I was going to die. I felt like I was suffocating- I think they dropped my blood pressure too quickly. I'd start at a very low dose and see how that works.

I had a similar experience. I was given them for migraines but started having panic attacks and felt like I was suffocating.

I have just been prescribed these but haven’t taken any yet .. partly as I get scared about taking meds and also that most of my panic atta CJ is are in work situations or cars which I have not done .
Has anyone drank alcohol with these tablets
I do like a wine at the weekend

Just joining into this thread....

I have been prescribed propranolol today for high blood pressure related to anxiety and stress.

I feel nervous about taking them.

I’ve been on beta blockers in the past (a different one) and was fine, so I don’t know why I’m so anxious about taking these ones.

I’m sure they all work the same way to some degree?!

@QueenofmyPrinces I was super nervous too but mine seem to be working properly now, I get horrible headaches from them tho x you'll be fine 🤗

A bit confused now as I’ve done my blood pressure three times this evening, as she instructed me to, and they’ve all been completely normal readings with normal heart rates.

She had checked it three times in the surgery and all three readings came back insanely high.

I haven’t taken my tablet tonight now because the reason she put me on it was for high blood pressure, which I currently don’t have.

She said it would help with my high heart rate too (as her machine had detected) but on the three readings I’ve done at home my heart rates have been 73, 75 and 72.
