Adult ADHD self help

Evening!

So I've decided (after doing a gazillion courses in lockdown - I'm a teacher) that I have ADHD. Chronic under achiever, incredibly low boredom threshold, appalling at organising a house, creative, flitty never sleep brain, impostor syndrome, living the middle class lie etc etc.

Enough of me. If I go to the GP (doctors are a really hard thing for me to do anyway - I have social issues mainly as i know our doctors) nothing will happen right now.

Questions please: Who do I speak to? Is there a club for 56 year olds like me?? Secondly, what foods/vitamins etc might help a bit in the meantime?

I feel I've never really "done" living/parenting/house/job. I want to be the real me.

Thank you - hope this makes sense!

Thanks - interesting stuff! Sadly, the thing that causes me the most pain is that my children think I'm a rubbish housekeeper. I am I know. However, I'm a great cook, welcoming (but never relaxed ) hostess. They just want the tidy house to invite the friends back to. I don't like the fact I disappoint them. Impostor syndrome - we live in the ultimate rural middle class area and if any of my neighbours went upstairs in my house, I'd die of shame. I always thought I was just too creative but loads of boxes fit.
