Can't do this for the foreseeable

With everything that's going on in the world, I've got myself in to such a black hole.

It feels like everything is closing in and I don't want to be here anymore. I can't see my family. I can't see my friends. There is no joy left to be had. Everything is now a struggle - right down to the normal weekly shop or seeing a doctor. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and don't want to bring someone else in to this horrid situation.

I can't do this for the foreseeable. Im fed up of crying. I don't even have the willpower to get myself out of bed anymore.

@Lunafloves we're so sorry you're feeling so low. It's not much consolation we know, but quite a lot of people are struggling right now and will understand how you feel. Have you contacted your midwife?

You might also want to take a look at our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.
