Moving home anxiety

Just looking for some advice! We were basically forced to move home 3 weeks ago. The home we were in we had been there for 4 year and had really great plans for redecorating and such.
However life has a habit of ruining plans.
Anyway we found a new rental home pretty quickly and moved in really quickly. We discovered the reason we had to move on the Tuesday, and we were in our new home on the Sunday!
The new house we've moved to, to be honest, is a lot better. The house is bigger, more storage space for all dh and dd's stuff, better heating system, and it's in the area we always wanted to move to.

However I can't help feeling this looming sadness over our old house which I did love. It's sounds silly, but with my work I'll be able to find out who moves into our home and I really hope it's someone I like, as I don't want a stranger in my house 😭
I don't know if the stress of moving has worn off and the depression has sunk in.

That was a huge upheaval for you and must have been very traumatic to suddenly have to move so quickly.
They do say that moving house is one of life's big stresses.
You are grieving for your old house and life.
You will just need time to settle in and adjust to all that has gone on.

On the positive side you have a bigger, warmer house in a nicer area.

Soon it will feel like home, it will just take time.Flowers

It was your home not just a house so of course you still have 'feelings' for it.

When you've settled properly and had some fun in your new house it will start to feel like home xx
