i snapped at my Dp's head off before for no reason! and he said "Do that once more and im leaving!"

it been going on too long as im so knackered even when i get up im knackered.

i apologised to my Dp and told him to get me some nose strips and iron tabs from the chemist cos i suffer from sinus probs and if i wear the strips i get a good night sleep.

I feel so aneamic but ive been tested twice since ive had my DD (and before i was pg) but came back fine.

TIREDNESS make me a horrible person to Dp who i dearly love

you could try eating more iron rich foods, dark green leafy veg, dried apricots, red meat, dark choc...and avoid tea and coffee as interferes with iron absorption. and could take spatone too.

go to bed earlier..not rocket science, but a week of going to bed at 9pm will do you the world of good

have some more blood tests, being this knackered , over above being tired due to day to day living should be looked at

Biglips · 30/08/2007 19:49

should i ask for my docs or to do the aneamic test again?.

Yes you are right...i DO need to eat more iron rich foods as i eat it about once a week of it...best to try 3 times a week to see if it bump up my iron level

Tiredness could be a symptom of many things tho', I'd go see the GP and tell them so you can be thoroughly checked out.Chronic tiredness is a pita and not just for the people you live with, but for you aswell.

rantinghousewife · 30/08/2007 19:53

BL, it could be thyroid, it could be diabetes, it could be depression, the list goes on. I'd mention to the GP that you've had some iron tests and they've come back normal. It could just be the quality of your sleep, whatever it is can probably be resolved as long as you know what it is.

i do have a mild depression which is getting sorted out by the councillor. Im more knackered since i went camping 3 weeks ago, the following week i had to take mum to the airport for 6am i was up at 4am, then last week my DD didnt get to sleep till 3am!! and now ive been falling asleep in the middle of the day. ive had a shower so i feel abit ok!

I'm assuming you've had all those checked recently? I'm not an expert but you might not be sleeping very well if you have sinus problems.

Biglips · 30/08/2007 20:36

apart from diabetics

rantinghousewife · 30/08/2007 20:38

Biglips · 30/08/2007 20:42

Thirsty, peeing more often, recurrent thrush. They are the only ones I remember off the top of my head. I'm not a doc, tho

ooh ive just checked for Diabetes. Can i just ask the docs to check it out?

OP posts:
rantinghousewife · 30/08/2007 21:28

Yes, you may have to go for a blood test first, then depending on those results they may ask you to do a GTT.

Biglips · 30/08/2007 21:32

what is a GTT?

OP posts:
Biglips · 30/08/2007 21:33

will the docs laugh at me as im quite familiar with the symptoms but unsure if i do have it. My aunty had diabetes but it was old age

OP posts:
rantinghousewife · 30/08/2007 21:45

Gtt, glucose intolerance test. The doc will probably want to know what symptom you're having first. Depends on your doc, my mum found out from having a blood test.

Biglips · 30/08/2007 21:46

ive just been told on here that i can go to the lloyds chemist to get it done for free....no harm isnt there?

Better to rule it out, not normal to feel so tired all the time.
