Does anyone use Rescue Remedy Spray? How do you find it?

Bought some today. It was recommended to me. Just wondered if anyone has tried Bach's Rescue Remedy Spray and if you found it helpful.
Thanks.

I always have some in the house
great stuff really does help me
I used it before my driving test and really do think that it helped me pass first time cause I wasn't racked with nerves and unable to concentrate.
I also feel that it definitely helped with my anxiety.

I use it. Have found it really helps me when i am feeling nervous. I bought i for attending court for residency hearing. It did make me less nervous.

lucyellensmum · 12/08/2007 16:20

i have used this too. I used to use it at work as i had often to do very fiddly stuff and my hands would shake too much if i didn't use it. Also, it helped me get on a plane once, although i did swig nearly the whole bottle that day.

I suffer from anxiety and depression (apparently!) and have just started on ADs so cant use the rescue rem i presume. I did find it worked for me though. Placebo effect? maybe - but who cares, if it works.

What can I expect when I spray it? Taste, feeling etc?

tastes of alcohol - it contains a few drops to stop the water going off.

sparkler · 12/08/2007 17:14

Alcohol? Excellent!!

I didn't find it made much difference to me - but i used it anyway for a time.

sparkler · 12/08/2007 23:43

Think I shall be trying it out shortly. Family are stressing me out. [arrrghhh]

I use it when I am anxious, and it really helps to calm me down. I find it much better than Kalms tablets, which didn't seem to make much difference at all.

Pinkchampagne · 13/08/2007 00:00

I agree that it tastes of alcohol! Great stuff!

themoon66 · 13/08/2007 00:00

Kalms are crap. Rescue Remedy is just expensive water.

Pinkchampagne · 13/08/2007 00:04

Found Kalms a total waste of time, but do feel calmer after taking RR. This could be all in my mind, but I do notice a difference.

expatinscotland · 13/08/2007 00:07

I found it crap.

I need the hard stuff.

But I had PND twice with severe anxiety issues.

The depression's on the wane.

But the anxiety and panic attacks and insomnia are still there.

Sixer · 13/08/2007 00:08

wondered if you could OD on RM. I needed lots of... something. Didn't make a blind bit of differce here

expatinscotland · 13/08/2007 00:09

I find diazepam helpful .

themoon66 · 13/08/2007 00:09

I doubt you could OD on Rescue Remedy, given that its only water

sparkler · 13/08/2007 00:14

Only one way to find out. I'm just off to have a squirt (exuse the expression!) and will let you know how it goes.

Pinkchampagne · 13/08/2007 11:55

How did you find it, Sparkler?

sparkler · 13/08/2007 12:01

Not sure - used it again this morning. I'm wondering if just taking time out to have a squirt is making me feel better as I'm away from the situations that are causing me to feel like I am.
I have a lot going on here at the moment so stress levels are high.

Sorry to hear that, Sparkler.

FLIER · 13/08/2007 12:04

i swear by this stuff. use it all the time.

sparkler · 14/08/2007 12:02

I'm not sure if it's working or not. Possibly a little bit. Wonder if it will work if I pour it over my two fighting dd's heads.

children and pets can also use it - i used it the other night for my wee ones' teething pain.
