I was admitted to a Priory hospital last year after escalation in suicide attempts. I was transferred via ambulance and was really unsure what to expect. Firstly all my belonging were gone through and anything deemed a risk removed. I was clerked by the Dr and left to sleep except for the 30 mins of someone shining a torch on me. Due to my diagnosis of C-PTSD I was seen by the psychologist within the first 4 days on a one to one basis. I had regular group therapy and was allowed out with the OT after the first few weeks. They made an effort to accommodate my children at visiting times. I was facilitated with home visits and was finally discharged after 3 months.
