We're fairly sure my DH has ADHD/ADD or something similar.
Difficulty focusing, easily distracted, really forgetful, unable to sit still, very bright but really struggled at school and lots of other reasons.
It does impact our relationship, but not so much that it's causing big issues.
I feel that getting a diagnosis would be useful, if only for support or to get the language he needs to help him/help him help me understand how his brain works so we can work together better (/ so I get less mad when he gets distracted when I'm talking to him)
I also think it would help him address his anxiety etc.
He however feels that he's made it this far, so what's the point.
It's obviously his choice, but I'd be really interested if anyone else has had any positive experiences from being diagnosed as an adult.
Also if there was a moment or any particularly things that happened to you/you did that made you realise that maybe your brain worked a little differently/it was time to speak to a Dr ?
