Hi I'm not sure whether anyone is at fault and I don't want to make a big deal out of it.

However, if the medication was related to a physical illness and could cause a condition to worsen or even lead to hospitalisation then I think people would think differently.

I've been on antidepressants for 6 years. Since August I stupidly snapped my tablets in half in order for them to last longer. This was due to me not finding work and unable to claim benefits. Yes stupid I know and I have learnt my lesson.

In September I went to see a DR. I told him how mentally unwelll I had been feeling. Honestly with how my mind works I didn't think that the half dosage could be the reason why my anxiety and depression had worsened.

When we spoke about medication and I explained what I had done he told me I must take the full 100mg and I got a prescription that day. I put them straight into my pill box and threw the box away.

Fast forward to February I still felt horrendous. (I've been waiting for an asperges assessment since November 2017 and I had had enough). I saw another doctor and asked if my dosage could be increased to 150mg. She said since September my prescription had been changed from 100mg to 50mg. So between September - February I unknowingly was taking half my usual dosage.

I usually order my prescription via another company online but my account still says 50mg.

The company have told me to speak to my doctors and get them to change it. While I'm doing this do I mention why or just forget it?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense I feel crap x
