Terrified I am going to be sectioned

Came to A&E this morning but after seeing the MH liaison they were talking about getting me taxi to go home. They disappeared and then I wandered off to the toilet then thought I would go for a coffee and the upshot was I left. It seems tho I had to see a doctor so they've got the police and made me come back.
I am so scared they are going to section me - they are saying things like "if you need to be in hospital, you'll be in hospital".
I just want to run away and hide but I know they will stop me. They dont seem to understand how terrifying all this is.
I dont really understand why i am so scared as ive been in hospital before and it can help but this time it just seems wrong

Hi there sorry to hear that your having a tough time atm.

I'm surprised that you are able to come and go as you please from the ward during the day, have you self admitted at this point? I would say that if you are coming and going repeatedly and admitting yourself to a and e and the police being involved the hospital will have no choice to admit you eventually for assessment to determine your needs.

You sound like you are trying to juggle a lot at the moment with work and day to day, I understand that the ward can be a very high stress place but ultimately if you don't accept the help at this point your going to continue in this cycle. I'm wondering if there's any support outside of the hospital that could help, do u have a support worker you could speak with? Family/ friends etc
