Its shit isnt it.

They will have gone now. Also there is no law saying you have to answer your door.

Are you getting help for your anxiety?

Firsttimemum892 · 20/09/2018 18:56

Sorry you feel this way just remember there are loads of reasons strangers knock on the door , probably somebody selling something or a neighbour asking for a favour etc x

It's horrible I'm in absolute tears I hate that I do it! And awaiting help had an assessment recently awaiting for some help also awaiting for CBT like therapy because when I get anxiety I pick my face or pull my hair out! I'm just so scared and stressed out. I'll be good some days and then worse on others and today is a bad day 😢

Have you considered medication? If you can bear to drink it you could try cammomile tea Envy it tastes like sick but it really works for me.

TheClientList · 20/09/2018 19:07

I'm on citalopram but doesn't seem to work for my anxiety very well 😕

Yeah it's absolutely shit.

I would suggest that whilst you are waiting for your therapy you get some medication, there is no shame and it will really help you. A couple of years ago I couldn't even turn my phone on for fear of someone ringing me unexpectedly, medication has helped so much.

beeefcake · 20/09/2018 19:08

Ahhh sorry just seen your latest post. What dosage are you on and how long have you been on it?

LEMtheoriginal · 20/09/2018 19:09

Tell them you want escitalopram instead. I was on citalopram and it works much better. Its more expensive so they usually go for citaopram

TheClientList · 20/09/2018 19:20

I'm on 20mg and been on it for almost a year and I feel like that switching my phone off I do sometimes just to avoid the outside the only thing I feel much calmer temporarily! And ok I'll ask for that instead! Thank you
