you're not alone, I feel very similarly. I have my DC and thats it but they are enough.
Please don't ever feel you're alone in this, I know how shit it can be but take it a day at a time.

kayakingmum · 19/07/2018 23:12

You're not wasting anyone's time. Funnily enough I've been feeling miserable this evening too and all teary. I'm upset because I felt that my 14 month old was so happy at her nursery (she had her first 2 hours there on Tues then Wednesday) and was with my mum today it feels like she's not bothered about me anymore. Plus I feel like everyone (i.e mum and partner) don't think I keep the house tidy enough.
My point is sometimes my mind can make me feel miserable even though I don't have big problems.

Maybe you have really big problems, maybe you have little problems, either way if you're feeling miserable that sucks. Try to remember that you are needed (even if you don't feel that you are right now), people are here for you and you won't feel this way forever. I hope you feel better soon.
Sorry for going on too long.

MissTulipan · 19/07/2018 23:13

I am also here, motherhood is so tough, relentless and the heat doesn’t help me when I’m feeling stressed out. But like others have said your children love and need you.

So sorry you are feeling so low but you are definitely not wasting anyone’s time, we care...

Montypulciano · 19/07/2018 23:18

Dear Mrspickle

I am sorry you are feeling so low. Please keep talking to us. There is also help here if a real voice would help.

Thinking of you and sending love. You are not alone. We are here.

Montypulciano · 19/07/2018 23:19

Telephone no is 116 123 if you are in the UK.

Bananamanfan · 19/07/2018 23:21

You will feel better than you do now. Just hang on. I felt like you feel at the moment, I thought everyone would be better off without me and I couldn't imagine ever feeling better, but I went to the Drs, was completely honest and anti depressants saved me. I didn't believe they would work for me, but they did and the relief was overwhelming. Flowers xx

lola212121 · 19/07/2018 23:26

@mrspicklepants27 I have been crying today too . I'm alone with no partner and no family . Life is hard . Can you talk to your GP? X

Mittler · 19/07/2018 23:28

MrsPickle, I have felt the same, and was feeling the same, yet asoddinggain, this evening. The sodding Samaritans (Ok, I know they are lovely and mean well, and can't do anything else) just say "can you tell me why you feel like this?" I can, but it doesn't help. Anti-depressants didn't work for me, as I am beyond that. I just want someone to make it all go away. I have made a plan for what to do once my youngest is 18 and has done her A levels, so only have four years to tick off on the calendar. That's ok, as I at least have a plan. The short version is that you are not alone. I am so sorry you feel like this. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Lisaloolops · 19/07/2018 23:30

Me too, I talked to my Dr and am on them too, and they have really helped, there is so much pressure on mums and so little thanks or help if you have a crap hubby, or no hubby! I left my crap hubby after years of being afraid of being a single mum. And it was the best thing I ever did! If I had known how much happier I would be I would have done it sooner! Hormones play a huge part once you hit your late 30's and the 40's too, not underestimate them! Hang in there OP and see if your Dr can help you to feel better, that's the first step and you took it x keep going, you can do this x

SpeckledDot · 19/07/2018 23:30

I know how you feel too! I dont have a partner. Noone comes to visit me i could die alone in this flat and my 3 year old would starve to death before anyone will realise I'm gone. I'm thoroughly and completely fed up with life.

lola212121 · 19/07/2018 23:34

@SpeckledDot similar situation but with 3 children . You can chat to me anytime

nespresso1664 · 19/07/2018 23:36

you are everything to your children and so much more. x

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 19/07/2018 23:36

Off to bed but glad to see the night crew have your back

Apileofballyhoo · 19/07/2018 23:40

I'm also reading and sending you a hug. And also to the others on the thread who are suffering and have suffered. I've been there myself.

Woulditbeworth · 19/07/2018 23:46

Just offering a hug from here.

If you can’t sleep, perhaps you could write down some things you are feeling that you want to share with your Dr. When I made an appointment to see mine, feeling very similar to you, I started sobbing and totally lost my ability to articulate how I was feeling.

And then try to rest, you must be exhausted. xx

nellly · 20/07/2018 07:00

lydiangel83 · 20/07/2018 07:26

wombatron · 20/07/2018 07:32

Hi OP. I hope you got some rest. Good luck at the doctors today.

X

DawnMumsnet · 20/07/2018 14:21

Hi mrspicklepants27,

We're really sorry to hear you're feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind but we thought it might be useful to add a link to our Mental Health resources - there are lots of organisations listed on this webpage that can offer you support in real life.

You can also go to the Samaritans website, or email them on [email protected], or call them on 116 123.

We hope that by now you've seen your GP and are getting the support you need.

Sending good wishes. Flowers

Lisaloolops · 27/07/2018 00:54
