I don’t think I can do this any longer

I just don’t think I want to exist anymore. It’s such a strong feeling of needing to just not be here anymore.

Has anyone had this and survived it?

It's not your fault. I had a new medication prescribed this week. Took one. It really isn't going to work for me.
Stopped a previous one due to a different side effect.
Not my fault. Yep. It's an illness. So I shall get back to the GP and seek an alternative.

I feel like a fraud or a waste of the GP’s time

I know sweetmisery but that's the illness talking

Mabelface · 13/06/2018 07:10

You'd be seeing the gp because you're ill. Definitely not a waste of time. You deserve to get better.

erinaceus · 13/06/2018 07:38

How are you doing this morning?

Wolfiefan · 13/06/2018 08:01

You're not a fraud or wasting time. That's the illness talking. It's a bugger. You're not well and an unwell person isn't wasting the time of a GP.

Woken up the same way as always dreading the day

can you take some leave from work to give yourself a chance to catch your breath?

4dogs · 13/06/2018 09:45

I had been feeling like this for about 6 weeks but gradually it has started to lift and I have had a few days of feeling slightly better. Just keep plodding through, keep posting on here and hopefully it will change. Have you seen your gp? I know you said you feel you’d be wasting their time but that’s not true. You are ill, you need to see them, that is what they are there for.

erinaceus · 13/06/2018 10:08

Yeah, it can be like that. Are you going to work today?

colouringinagain · 13/06/2018 23:14

How are you doing sweet?

Wolfiefan · 13/06/2018 23:18

It doesn't have to be for always. See your GP. Change this.
