Hello ladies!

So I’ve been on google searching what to do about this! It’s 25 degrees outside I just want to get myself and bump out for a bit of sun but I have a big phobia of wasps, just as I was writing this a wasp flew into my living room and sat right with me on the sofa! I’m just sick of it I have just had to run for my life out my house! Atleast I’m out in the sun now but with all the other wasps!😐😭
This all started from when I was young, I unfortunately got stung by a whole nest of wasps and was a very traumatic time for myself, I just don’t know what to do anymore I just enjoy the sun and especially the fact I’m pregnant and have a 5 year old, in this weather I need to be out and about enjoying this beautiful sunshine!

I really don’t know what to do anymore if anyone knows of any tips or ways to stop me feeling this way every time i see or hear a buzzing noise I would be so thankful and grateful this is seriously starting to mess with my life now

Oh you poor thing, that must have been horrible for you when you were a child! I've had a couple of wasp stings and they were horrible, so I can imagine how much worse a whole nest of the buggers must have been! I wish I could be more help than just suggesting you ask your GP whether they can recommend anything for your phobia.

Is it not a bit early for wasps? Sure they aren’t bees instead..bees are normally harmless unless you swat hell out them..and wasps if out early are not in the slightest bit interested in you at all very unlikely to sting you unless you try to batter them with a newspaper..it’s end of July they get aggressive so you have a few months of worry free until then...do not kill a wasp inside your home they release a hornone that attracts other wasps for attack mode. I left a light on in my home one night and woke up and my hallway wasn’t covered in wasps that got in through the window..so keep lights out when not in use..
Another thing though might annoy the neighbours is a outdoor Firepit chimney thing the smoke keeps bugs away so u can sit in ur garden in peace..
if you see a wasp do not panic! Walk briskly away because they come near to drink your sweat..just keep walking a few yards they will give up flying at you..I’ve seen many a person run about arms waving- that will get you sting.. remain calm..
