Reassurance needed (sertraline withdrawal)

We've been snowed in, GPs and pharmacies unexpectedly shut, etc etc, and I've unexpectedly had to go three days without my usual 50mg sertraline.

Thought I was doing ok but have come over really dizzy and 'spacey' since this afternoon.

It's manageable, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get my prescription tomorrow morning, but in the meantime can anyone reassure me that these withdrawal effects won't last too long once I'm back on the meds?

The thing that's making me panic is the thought that I'm going back to 'square one' again.

Thanks for any advice/hand holding!

I am deliberately attempting to come off Sertraline and I can confirm that those symptoms are normal! I tend to get the dizziness and spacey-ness intermittently for a few days after I drop my dose. Should go very quickly once you're back on the meds - or alternatively once your body adjusts (based on my experience).

Thank you for replying, that's really comforting to know. Feeling a bit less het up about it this morning!
