Holiday insurance and anxiety

Hi, first time poster!

I'm currently being treated for severe anxiety and have had buspiron, diazepam and propranolol in the past couple of months as well as having assessments under a psychiatric nurse and then forwarded to a psychiatrist. I'm due to go on holiday just for two nights this Friday (22/09/17) in Amsterdam with my partner for the first time since having my near three year old and it's our first ever get away together - but since there has been the bomb in London and then a couple of suspected tonight (one in my area) I am absolutely dreading it even more than I was before. I'm sat having a panic attack and really do not want to be in an airport or leave my child for any amount of time. I'm up every night until 4am dreading it the closer it comes. I booked it in January and have had a pretty awful time since then which has made my anxiety reach dizzying heights. My question is. If my dr deems me not fit to travel will my insurance cover it? I declared it on my insurance (they didn't charge me any extra for it). I know people will say that's what they want to do and it's working and I should just go, but it's genuinely made me throw up today. I am in so much fear and can't stop shaking. This holiday all in all has cost us £700 😭 Sorry for the long post and thank you for any feedback xxx

May I add, it's the fear of leaving my son and something happening to both of his parents and him not having us. Also of a terrorist attack at the airport or on the plane. Something happening whilst I'm out there and my son not having me with him. The list just goes on. I've had a genuine fear of terrorist attacks since I was younger and 9/11 happened. Sometimes to the point of fainting when a plane went over the house because I thought it was 'them' attacking us. I thought the fear had feigned but recent events have made it severe. Sorry for going on. I'm so worried (sad)

If your Dr says you're not medically fit to travel, your insurance should pay out.
You may have to pay a fee for Dr to fill in Insurance form.

That wouldn't be a problem. Partner is worried we will lose everything if I feel I cannot go. Thank you x
