Hey

Do you have a social worker? Or input from CAMHS? They might be able to direct you to a suitable place

PurpleDaisies · 21/05/2017 21:40

Op I remember you posting before. Did you ever talk to someone at uni or social services?

NolongerAnxiousCarer · 21/05/2017 23:00

Hi, you might want to speak to centrepoint, they are a charity who support homeless young people including with mental health support. Social services should be your first port of call though for an assessment of your needs but there are rules about people who make themselves homeless voluntarily not getting support and I don't know your circumstances regarding the abuse from your parents would affect this. There may be supported living options available through social services too.

I haven't got a Ducis worker. That's what I throught. Basically I'm trapped as my parrents will always presuade people I'm a fantasist. I hate live.

Who have you told about what's going on at home?

11122aa · 22/05/2017 22:18

And my next door neighbour is tormenting us with loud music at the moment and I am scared my dad will kill him. They don't allow me to contact anyone in social services.

Go to the police

PurpleDaisies · 22/05/2017 22:26

You're at university in the daytime. Please tell a tutor or student support services. They can put you in touch with people that can help.

I tried that the other week and my mum presuaded them I am a fantasiat so no one at uni will believe me.

Aren't you the one who thinks they're studying Law?

Either you have capacity, or you don't.

If you do, you are a grown adult just leave.

From what you've said before, your only issues are with self care. I'm sure you can figure out the basics.

The impression that you give on here does rather lend weight to your parent's argument though.

Bobbins43 · 23/05/2017 18:18

How is your mum persuading everyone that you are a fantasist?

NolongerAnxiousCarer · 23/05/2017 18:41

Legally mental capacity is decision specific so you can have capacity to make some decisions but not others, it is not a case of having capacity or not in a general sense.

You can ask for an independant mental health advocate to support you. If you google mental health advocate for your area you should find your local advocacy agency. They can help to speak for you and support you.
