I was put on sertraline for depression (just being disconnected from everything) and started taking it thursday night. All was ok bar a few headaches until last night i just couldnt sleep. Today i feel really on edge like im scared of something but dont know what. My jaw is really tense and im finiding it really hard to concentrate at work today.

Is this normal and if so how long does it last? I guess on the plus side i am feeling something for the first time in years just wish it wasnt fear!

Yes I think it has. I wish I had kept records, tbh, if I had known.. I can't quite describe how I think they have affected me... I've never got my creative focus back, which was truly my raison d'être, I've not experienced ~flow since my time on citalopram.

Hi all thought id give you an update. Its been 2 weeks 2 days since i started and im still up and down. Im a bit more with it but my moods go up and down alot. The dr seemed happy with my progress and has said to carry on and to also go to cbt. Ive been having alot of nightmares and also started grinding my teeth. I just feel so nervy its weird.

I have been taking mine for 2 weeks and 2 days too. I don't see a difference at the moment.I have an appointment next week so will go from there.
I am glad the gp was happy with your progress.maybe the teeth grinding and nightmares will settle down a bit this week as it is still early days.

It took 3 weeks to kick in for me and now I feel so much better. I still get weird dreams but they are a small price to pay.
