I've made the next step, I really hope she gets back to me quickly. Everything has got so much this weekend, I'm currently laid in bed crying and want to die. I start work in 20 minutes Sad. If I do manage to get an appointment what should I expect? Talking to other people about how I feel isn't one of my strong points.

I'm glad to hear the AD are helping freaking and that you find your counselling useful Smile

Hi together, great news! She's just rung and said she can fit me in on Tuesday night. Now I'm really worried and stressing out and thinking maybe I don't need counselling and I'm fine, but reading back through my posts I'm clearly not!!

That's brilliant wasabi - promise me you'll go! Even when you're in a good phase it's good to talk about the stuff that makes life really hard at other times. I go through up and down cycles too, which is one reason it took me so long to seek counselling. It was hard to summon the energy when I was low, then I thought I didn't need to go when I was feeling ok. I'm so glad I'm doing it now.

I promise together, even though I really don't want to right now. I just hate the unexpected and have no idea what to expect, shall I take a list of everything that is happening right now? I'm glad it's worked out for you though. And thank you for your lovely kind words this week, they've really helped. Flowers

I think it's a good idea to jot things down. You might not have time to look at all of it in one session so it will help you remember for later sessions. Really hope it goes well, look after yourself. Smile

Hi, I went last night Smile. It was hard, very hard and I was shitting myself beforehand but I feel so relieved to have gone. She said she's extremely surprised I'm managing to live alone successfully and work full time with everything that's going on under the surface so it was just nice for someone to recognise how hard I'm finding life at the moment. I also cried (a lot!) but I'm glad I went. Thanks for everyone's kind words on this threadFlowers
