Uncomfortable in other people's houses

Anyone else way more comfortable in their own home than in other people's?

Thinking about getting together with another child and their mum, but at their house I feel like I don't where to sit (like Sheldon in Big Bang).

What's that about???

I think the feeling of being uncomfortable comes from anxiety.
Being in a room, not your own, with another person involves an interactive activity. You need to talk to the other woman. How do you feel about her? Do you feel she is cleverer/ prettier/ richer than you. Do you trust her? Do you feel awkward in case she makes judgements about you?
If any of the above is true then something that might help is to focus on your self is A course in Mindfulness. It would help you relax, and CBT/ and counselling would help with your self esteem.
A wonderful place to be, and maybe something to aim for, is NOT caring about WHAT anyone thinks of you. AND not caring about anyone more than yourself. ( I don't mean being a selfish twonk)
You feel amazing when you are relaxed. You can be yourself.

Anxiety screws your body up into a ball. You need to ask your GP for suggestions to unscrew it.
