Ds complained of tummy ache last night and still this am. He's had toast for breakfast and now banana and choc biscuit. He is quite lethargic on the sofa and clearly struggling from late nights over last week or so when we've had visitors etc.

I am in a total state. Have got myself so worked up that he is going to be sick. Does this sound like a bug to any of you wise people?

Thank you

See how he goes, plenty of fluids and pop him a bucket there just incase.

I suffer the same as you do it's awful isn't it.

Not sure if this is of any help. My DD suffers with emetophobia and has some considerable success with Thrive
We bought her the book and she found a local therapist who really made a big difference.
Sounds a bit "woo" but it really helped her.

Fellow emmetophobe here, completely understand your anxiety.

I have a similar issue tonight, I'm sitting up,awake worried about children's maybe vomiting.

Hope all was ok xx

Emetophobe here too

Hope you're ok I so know how you feel

I totally empathise; just this morning I had a panic attack on the train because someone I live with works in a hospital where there's a bug outbreak and she's saying she's had stomach cramps. Just try and stay calm, it will be okay Brew

Hope things are ok.

I'm in a panic as a mum of a child in my child's class at school, put on Facebook they were vomiting on Monday night, then she sent the child to school Tuesday!!

I asked my child who she sat next to and yip this child.

Honestly!

I sympathise too. I even feel slightly anxious at the moment because my three DSs are back at school. Summer hols give me six weeks off the worry and that's over. There is usually a bug early on in term too.

I think it if were a tummy bug he would have been sick quite soon after feeling unwell with tummy ache. Or if it is a bug it might be a really mild one.

This morning, it's happened, I open the dreaded Facebook and see DS1's best friend's mum's status: 'been up all night, poor (DS1's best friend) has been sick every two hours.'

So now I feel that familiar panic, the 'I can't do this' feelings, etc etc. I'm away this weekend and DH and I are going abroad the weekend after. It is my idea of hell to be ill while travelling.

Oh why oh why?????
