All because of my depression.
I dont know whats brought it on, suppose its cause my dd just wont go to sleep, shes so knackered so is crying cause of it. Shes woken my ds up, whos crying, and im down here, crying.
I HATE FEELING THIS WAY.

My dh isnt home till half nine, and i feel like i just wanna go out somewhere, on my own.

Im on anti-d's which I thought were worken, they were helping me, but i missed last nights.

Are they still awake? Do you drive? If I were you I'd pile them into the car and go for a drive for half an hour to see if you can get dd off to sleep.
Sounds like you may be tired too - could always cuddle up in your bed with dd until your dh comes home from work.

Depression sucks. But the ads seem to be working - that's a good thing, and something to hang onto while you're feeling down again. Because even on ads you can have bad days, particularly if you don't take them every day. Depression is like that - some days life just comes and whacks you in the face, even when you think you're coping OK.

Dh will be home in half an hour, yes? OK, so when he comes back it's his turn to have the crying for a bit. No matter whether he's tired, no matter whether he needs a rest ... you need a rest too. When he's back go for a walk - even if it's only for 10 minutes round the block to clear your head. Just a bit of peace can make a world of difference. Or go for a drive in the car, if you drive - with some loud music on, if music makes you feel brighter sometimes.

Make sure you take your ads tonight - and take them every night, religiously. You can start getting side-effects again if you don't take them every night, and sometimes that can make the depression feel worse.

Hope you feel a bit better soon xxx

My ds has gone back to sleep, thankfully, but my dd just wont stop crying (neither will I). I dont know what to do, she wont lie on the bed next to me, lie in my arms or even sit on my lap. She doesnt want to be on the floor, or in her high chair. Shes had calpol (incase its her teeth, which makes me feel even worse for feeling like this if its because shes in pain).
as soon as dh is home, Im going out for a walk.

Thanks for the sympathy

Trying to smile now!

jofeb04 · 17/07/2006 20:47

Hiya
Not to bad thanks, apart from some f**ker tried to steel my dh's moterbike. I had a good sleep, which seemed to make things a lot better for me.

Hi Jo, only just seen this. I dont know how long you have been on AD's but they do take a while to work, adn sometimes, even an increased dose might be necessary (I did this a few months back and it has made a really significant difference).

Also, everyone (normal people included lol) have bad days.
