I am hyperventilating and feeling so panicky, I am scared and can't calm down, have been doing deep breathing but it's not working

respite at the moment is provided by my mums sister or one of my sisters (very occasionally)
I don't feel like i know how to talk through this

What some posters do, is print out the thread, and hand it to the GP.

That sounds like a good idea thank you x

:( Oh, well it's not the end of the world because you did it. And I'm glad there are some more posters who can offer more suitable advice than I can! I hope you can get to see your G.P and that you can get some more respite from outside the family. Good luck :)

sorry you are having a crappy time behib.

I am in no place myself to offer emotional support, but wanted to let you know that you are not alone.

when panic sets in, singing out loud along with the radio is good...it helps to regulate your breathing, and it's something you can do in the car by yourself.

I find 'tapping' helpful too...I have used this video...repaeat after the lady what she is saying whilst tapping like she does...it works in the short term for me, and is a good practical something to do....the tapping starts at 2mins 40 secs. pinterest.com/pin/121034308708845159/

I hope things are on the up for you soon x

chimchar thank you that looks really good
I feel so pathetic when I can't control it which makes me panic more it seems to be a vicious cycle right now
Even quite minor things like I had some car trouble yesterday and I went to pieces

You have far too much to cope with. That is enough to make anyone feel panicky.
You need to get some more daily reliable practical help with the caring.

I will try and find some better help
Xxxx thank you all
