Does anyone else's anxiety/depression 'lift' of an evening?

Mine does in a major way. I feel like I get 'myself' back from about 7pm. It's very odd.

I've been reading about diurnal mood disorder and it's given me hope that my problems are (in part) to an out of whack body regulator. A lot of the time I'm panicked for NO DISCERNABLE REASON and something misfiring - like cortisol for instance would make total sense to me. Especially middle of the night panic attacks.

I do have other problems that aren't directly related to this, but I'm certain it's a factor.

Anyone else?

@nancyv1234 I'm on sertraline which worked wonders for me 3 years ago and continued to work up until a month ago and the anxiety was triggered and I find myself back in this awful place. My dr has upped my sertraline and I'm hoping it's going to help as it did before aswell as having therapy once a week.

Sometimes, yes, probably because I know I'll be settling down to sleep for the night soon(if I can sleep), also there are things on TV that I enjoy watching.

I agree, the evenings are the easiest.
I’ve had anxiety since I had a miscarriage in 2016 (I know this is when if triggered). In the evenings I feel safe, knowing my little one is home from school & I don’t need to leave the house again. The only thing is the thought of facing it all the next day 😔

yes but I don't know what to do about it

looking at related factors - obviously coming back from work is better than heading there!!

then now I have to ring my elderly mum when I finish work so that has an anxiety spike. But generally the day being over always makes me feel better, whether it's depression or anxiety wise. Don't know what that means though. The doc said anxiety hormones are higher in the morning.
